Tikkun Ha-Ir's mission is to engage the Jewish community to build a more just Milwaukee through study, action, and civic engagement.

Tikkun Ha-Ir of Milwaukee provides volunteer, social action, and study opportunities for all Jews regardless of affiliation. Activities integrate the study of Jewish texts with social action projects to improve the civic life of Milwaukee and its people. Its seven sponsoring organizations include six synagogues of different denominations as well as the non-denominational Hillel Foundation. Membership in a sponsoring organization is not required to participate in or take a leadership role in Tikkun Ha-Ir activities. Activities are free and open to the public.
