Schools and Communities United

Schools and Communities United is a coalition to defend and improve our public schools, building upon the legacies and historic victories of public education and civil rights activists. The coalition is comprised of community, educator, civic, student, labor and religious organizations. We work collaboratively, with a commitment to strengthening relationships among member groups.

The coalition is committed to a long-term, multi-pronged approach that frames issues as part of a broader progressive agenda. We will develop tangible campaigns that both increase the organizing capacity of member groups and also improve access to quality public education in Wisconsin, particularly Milwaukee.
