Our Wisconsin Revolution – Milwaukee

Our Wisconsin Revolution is an independent, statewide, membership-driven, democratic-populist organization that aims to take all levels of Wisconsin government back from elites and make it of, by, and for the people.

Our goal is to win elections with honest hard working people as candidates who wholeheartedly embrace the people’s platform (this is a brief list):

end legalized corruption with public funding of elections
save every family an average of $3,000 a year by cutting out the middleman and moving to a publicly financed health care system
a $15 minimum wage and unions to help fight for living wages and pensions – Bring an end to the corporate dependence on food stamps and return dignity to our workers
free college to enrich the lives of our citizens and train them for a 21st century global economy
a green new deal to bring security to our planet, health to our people, and jobs to our jobless
an end to for profit prisons and mass incarceration by ending the war on drugs
create a federal civilian job skills program to empower people who have lost their path.

These among other local issues are the ultimate goals of our organization. OWR seeks to work in tandem with other organizations and activists who share with any or all of OUR vision of a just, fair, prosperous future for ALL of OUR people. Our job now is to stand together. When we don’t allow the oligarchs, elites, and greedy power mongers to divide us up, there is nothing we cannot accomplish!
