Milwaukee Indian Education Committee (MIEC)

The M.I.E.C (established in 1971) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote, advocate, and support educational issues and initiatives for the American Indian community in Metropolitan Milwaukee and the surrounding areas.

MIEC promotes, advocates, and supports educational issues and initiatives for the American Indian community in the Milwaukee area. MIEC is a volunteer based committee in the Milwaukee Metro area comprised of members of Native organizations and the community. We accomplish our goals through the cooperation and collaboration of community members and organizations.
