Wisconsin African American Tobacco Prevention Network

The Wisconsin African American Tobacco Prevention Network (WAATPN) is dedicated to supporting African American communities in eliminating tobacco related health disparities and addressing unequal marketing practices of corporate tobacco companies.

WAATPN has been collaborating with Wisconsin’s African American communities to eliminate racial disparities in tobacco burden and promote healthy tobacco-free life styles for African Americans. Central to the WAATPN is its community of volunteers made up of concerned citizens drawn from all walks of life---students, youth, young adults, teachers, public servants, faith-based organizations, social service agencies, the retired, researchers, etc.
