United Indians of Milwaukee
Description
The mission of the United Indians of Milwaukee is to maintain a Native American Indian center in Milwaukee, to develop educational services & programs for youth, to create and provide family oriented activities, to provide culturally specific programming, to provide a library of Native American history, to assist with Pow-wows in the Milwaukee and other areas, and to establish itself as a Native American Indian community organization pursuant to the 1975 Indian Self-Determination Act as USC Vol. 25 Sec. 450 b Par. (1) and its amendments such as Public Laws 103-413 and 93-38.
