Derute Consulting Cooperative

We support organizations committed to racial justice as they advance their work with black and other communities of color. We provide equity and justice-oriented organizational and leadership development; training and workshops; participatory research, assessment and evaluation; and program design and implementation support services in local and global contexts.

We believe we are at our best when we share what we know with one another. We are people-centered. We believe that solutions and strategies reside within people rather than in external pre-packaged programs. We believe that people can solve their own problems with support. We believe that thoughtful critique, process-oriented frameworks, and supports facilitate change within individuals, organizations and communities.

Derute Consulting Cooperative is a member-owned, democratically-governed cooperative of members with expertise in a variety of areas including organizational and leadership development; community development; research and evaluation; and program design and implementation. We are dedicated to supporting the equitable development and empowerment of Black and other communities of color locally, regionally and internationally.
