Mission
  • Provide support to African Students in the Marquette Community
  • Engage in the promotion of African culture at Marquette University
  • Seek and maintain liaison with other African Student Associations in universities nationwide and other community associations that serve to promote African values
The African Students Association at Marquette University also known as ASA aims to unite all Africans on the Marquette campus and Milwaukee community, in order to gain knowledge about the African culture, ourselves and others.
To achieve these goals, we
  • Hold meetings on African issues: politically and culturally
  • Hold social events throughout the school year
  • Perform several functions to create a valuable financial base
