The American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin was founded in 1930 and is the state affiliate of the national ACLU, which was founded in 1920. The ACLU of Wisconsin is a non-profit, non-partisan, private organization. It has 13,000 members and is dedicated to defending the civil liberties and civil rights of all the people of Wisconsin
